Mordái is a folk-rock band that’s mostly inspired by the repertoire of the experimental Hungarian folk musicians of the 60s and 70s, a truly specific sound that evokes the dark spirit of the highwaymen. Since the band started their journey, they have performed at several festivals in Hungary and have taken the stages of numerous clubs. Their initial music work from 2020 led to a series of accolades and the album “A Dream Fell On My Eyes”, which was released at the end of 2022, received plaudits from the general public and critics alike. The group was presented on many prestigious events, such as Eurosonic in Holland, Primavera Sound in Barcelona, INmusic, Volt, Waves, Budapest Ritmo, Music Moscow etc. Their folk influences give their sound authenticity and depth, but their rock-infused songs and moving contagious lyrics immediately catch your attention. Recently, Mordái performed on South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, which is by far the biggest recognition for the band.

The Lufthansa band was formed in 2020. With 4 albums, 5 years later, the group steers on the fresh wave of the Macedonian alternative scene. Hard working, energized and exceptionally humble, these talented guys represent a generation that figured out the simple formula – honest love and hard work brings results. Their shows in Hungary, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia – came as a proof of that concept. These musicians have an incredibly wide specter of musical taste, knowledge, and different spheres of interest. The production value of their recordings can easily be paired with most of the prominent indie names, but none of this would matter if their songs don’t resonate with the vibrating energy. On their last record you can recognize influences all the way from Black Sabbath to Darkwood Dub. And everything in-between. And if we try to place them in a certain frame, the following would be the closest: experimental and psychedelic rock, post-punk and no-wave. Although their recordings are impeccable, their true face can be seen live on stage.
